Refried Mexican frijoles
Lentils, Lima beans, chick peas
Baken beans ( especially Bush's)
Of course green beans and French green bean casserole, yum!
I like beans. They're an excellent thing to base your cooking around if you aren't cooking meat.
...But what I like more is that when I got into watching Formula One racing over the last few years, the British commentators frequently used the phrase "giving it full-beans," meaning, using all the power available. That phrase makes me happy. I can't fully explain why.
