I think most of the music channels I watch have already been mentioned. But I watch a bunch of travel stuff too.

A few favorites are Eamon and Bec, Van Wives, and Sailing La Vagabonde.

Oh and tiny house videos. I don’t have any desire to live like that but it’s fun to watch.

Really love Otis Gibbs’ channel.
Watched the Tom Bukovac videos last night, along with his remembrance of Jeff Beck, where he went off on a bit of a tangent about Austin. I found that part interesting because I'm in the middle of a recent New Yorker article about Austin.

I should subscribe. I've watched enough of his video and he's a good instructor. Clean examples and explanations and resists noodling.
His philosophy really appeals to me and is just new-concept + how to apply it to actual, you know, songs; dude definitely follows his own slogan: "Learn jazz, make music." Super useful for someone still sort of feeling their way through new things.

Related: I found this guy last night. Barry Harris (RIP) is a rabbithole I haven't yet gone down, looks like that will change with all this context.

While I watch a lot of youtube, I do not subscribe to any. I like to explore and I hate getting "watch me" notifications.

I get notifications from Rob Cosman's woodworking channel, I guess because I've bought some of his stuff. I generally like his videos.

I am a fan of Rob Mackillop but I don't follow him. We emailed back and forth a good bit when he was first exploring the banjo. Nice guy and an excellent player.

I tend to watch woodworking by twoodfrd, Stumpy Nubs, Paul Sellers, Boubon Moth, Tamar 3X3, Katz-Moses, etc.

Watching Stavros Gakos make woodworking planes is amazing.

I also enjoy some of the restoration vids where they find a rusty piece of mech and bring it back to life.

I don’t subscribe to any, but I follow some channels. Some music stuff of course. I watch a few Québécois French channels for language acquisition. I follow a few stock analysis channels for investment ideas. I also like some of the random documentaries that pop up in my feed.

He's really good, too. Episode 92! How high do they go?

Lots of channels mentioned in posts above
Especially Otis Gibbs

Occasionally check for new stuff on:

EEVBlog

Fran Blanche

Wonderhussy

Mostly I surf by searching a subject not a channel. Youtube is like 99% of what I watch on TV.
It's rare for me to watch a longer video (> 15 minutes) without skipping through it.

Ooh ooh and I forgot-- search for vids on Magnet Fishing. Good for at least one evening.

I feel like you could chew on each of his lessons for months. And they're all pretty concise.

I'm not a jazz guy and it's a shame cause he's really the best instructor on YouTube.

Totally agree, great instructor. I'm not really a jazz guy either, but I am trying to get better as a player, and to the extent I focus on anything, it's on understanding/learning jazz as means to understand/learn many things that follow from it.

I have a 2023 goal of learning* a standard per week and I find he's often got a lesson that includes a song I'm using as a demonstration of a given thing and that's just super helpful.

*shell-chord play through, learn the melody, be able to at least hum that melody while playing, learn the drop-twos, etc.

The great Louie Shelton does not post content weekly, but what he does post is absolutely historic and golden. If you play guitar and love old songs, you have to check out his page.

Paw Squadron always makes me feel good after watching. He is doing some great things...

Joe Chambers from the Musicians Hall of Fame has really great interviews on his channel, from people you don't hear from every day.

Already mentioned:
Ask Zac and twoodfrd. These two are probably my "stop everything else when they post something new" choices.
Also mentioned: Fivewattworld. Similar, although there are some "episodes" I skip, but others I've watched over and over.
Other guitar channels I like:
Alamo Music Center
CS Guitars
Guitar Max - latter two are shred players, but quirky and fun. Collin from CS Guitars is brilliant.
Anyone care to share your favorites relating to woodworking?
Stumpy Nubs
Pask Makes (lots of metal working as well)

No, I subscribe to a few but I don’t really watch anything on a regular basis.

My wife does, she watches two different family’s living aboard sailboats traveling the world. And several different gardeners.

I did find a guy that restores vintage wood working machinery. I found him on Facebook. He has a great machine shop.
