The Coke thread got me thinking...

Many folks replied that they drank soft drinks rarely if at all. What about mineral water? Do you have a favourite brand? Mine is...

    It's chewy!

Don't really have a favorite, not something I buy often. Topo Chico's pretty great. San Pellegrino with the little orange zest or whatever, also not bad.

Värska from our southern brothers. After that, everything tastes like cat’s pee.

We just buy bottled water, or generic unflavored or Lemon-lime seltzer.

But I do love San Pellegrino (sp?)
    ( if that's a mineral water)

Just never buy if for home use

I never liked the taste of mineral water. Tap is good here. We keep a 24 pack of spring water on hand in case of emergencies (hurricanes, etc.).

Topochico. Squeeze of lime is a great cool down.

And sometimes Crazy Water. Don’t notice anything but I like the idea.

They’re apparently doing a ‘hard’ version now, saw it at the store the other day, not sure if it’s a new thing. Interested to try it, but I only saw it in 12s. Too much commitment.

Pellegrino. Bonus that they sell it at Costco. Topo Chico is very popular here in Austin. It’s highly carbonated - too much for me to enjoy it.

Last week, I saw a billboard for "organic water"! There's a sucker born every minute.

I never heard of Topo Chico -- I don't know if it's sold in my parts. I see it is owned by Coca-Cola so it's probably coming this way

    Topo Chico...drink it regularly...

No joke—my mother was born in the Crazy Water Hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas...back when Mineral Wells was beginning their downhill slide from Spa/Resort Town/Army Base to sad and ragged west Texas town.

    Tap

    Comes from Branch Brook.
Branch Brook is 20-30 feet wide and 2-6 feet deep, fed by NH mountains and possibly springs as well.
I've been in the plant where it gets filtered and pumped.
    Good stuff.
