Do you carry a pocket knife?

Everywhere it's not strictly forbidden.

My Yeoman is within arm's reach pretty much at all times. Perfect combination of tool set and size (3 layers) for me.

I also keep a small Rambler on my keychain, as a backup and for the odd too-small-for-the-Yeoman job.

And I keep a Swiss Tool in my toolbox.

I am a heterosexual male, and I live in Alabama.
Yes, I carry a pocket knife.
(I'm pretty sure it's against the law around here to NOT carry a pocket knife.)

I have quite a few great pocket knives, but my favorite lately is the Featherlight HUNTER-G10-OD, by Hunter Knives of Alaska.
Great feel, lightness, strength, and sharpness.

Less and less.

Like many, I grew up with one in my pocket. In today's world, I prefer not to carry one...and I'm sure I have a dozen strewn about in drawers and shelves.

I use a box-cutter mostly now. One in the kitchen, one in the workshop.

I carried a Pro-tech Newport for 20 yrs until I lost it.

Only since age 7. My most recent carry is a Benchmade.

But—HNKD…happy new knife day! Yesterday I acquired two new (first production run) knives from a friend of mine here in town. I’ll put one in rotation and the other in my stockpile. This is a Justin Case Tactical FAFO-1 folder.

They come with blue, black or OD green grips, and do have a clip on the opposite side. I really like their fixed blades as well and have several. Nice stuff.

SOG Mini Aegis. No longer in production. grrrr
This is my second one. It’s always in my right front pocket. It’s also my dive knife
Weasel, I had a similar knife when I was heavily into sailing. A marlin spike is a great tool. I probably use mine once a month. It’s better than a screwdriver to free up a tight knot

Since I was about six. Mostly I carry a Case Stockman, top of picture. When I worked, in my dress pants or khaki’s, I carried the Case Peaunt Knife at the bottom. They have protected me from opening boxes and cutting twine and rope among other things for years.

edit: Like Sparky I live in Alabama and am a heterosexual male. Carrying a knife is mandatory.

Sorry, couldn't resist :lol::lol::lol:

I have two Wenoka knives, this one and one with a more traditional clip point blade.

I carry a canvas tote bag wherever I go ( good for gigs, car travel- a lot of stuff in it)
and there is small side pocket where among other things, I keep a small Swiss Army knife inside.
I think it's the 'Tinker' model

* my tote bag also holds a string winder, needle nose pliers, spare capo, reversible tip screwdriver, and a tire gauge!
('gig survival kit!')

I have carried a pocketknife as long as I can remember.
Like many of y’all I own dozens of various knives for various purposes.
I was never a Boy Scout, but for the last 5-6 years I’ve carried this Boy Scout pocketknife. I found it at a goodwill for $3.00.
It’s a 70’s vintage and I suspect it was manufactured by Schrade.
Dang good little knife.

I always carry a Spyderco Sage with carbon fiber and S30V blade. Always. Everywhere.
