Edward (RIP brother) told the story behind this Ibanez Destroyer. He decided to cut a shark mouth in it and repaint it to make it look mean. After he did, the removal of the wood behind the bridge completely killed the "balls" in the tone, and he didn't like it after that.

But it was a great guitar to pose for pics with.

Yeah I tend to favor white, some kind of shade of yellow/btterscotch/amber, or bluegreen hues like surf green, turq, mint green, powder blue etc

were you personal friends with him or something?

Referring to (My brother) I read the "balls" story in guitar player too, I believe.

Boy, he really wore his guitar low in the old days. By the time he was on to Strats or his signature line he wore it pretty high for a rocker. I like the low slung look but what do I know?

I never ever shoulda got ridda that.
I think that's the one that taught me that guitars are for buying, not selling

I had a candy apple red one that I re-finished in Arctic White while I was working at a body shop.

Great guitar, it was my number one until some jerk stole it.
