I've seen this guitar advertised for ages. I always assumed it was a factory refinished neck with the regular markings they got. I could be wrong of course

I am quite sure that body is a 1956 body because of the way the bridge PU cavity is routed.

I’m sure that they mean something.

The seller is in France: if it was not at the opposite from where I live, I could have asked to go and see the guitar for you.

Anyway even if authentic, it seems to me really overpriced considering it is a vintage partcaster, refin and with an awful routing on the back.

I would NEVER buy a guitar at that price without it being certified by a bloke like Terry O'Riley, vintage seller here in Adelaide, South Australia. He sells To Joe Bonamassa, Doobies, Steely Dan and must be well known to big players as that's who they buy from when touring here. His guitars are genuine and period correct in all ways.
You have to play it, hear it etc. All aspects need to be taken into account.
I know of a 63 L-Series Fiesta Red strat here,$19.500.00 AUD, but I also played in a band with it's former owner. He taught e a lot of Dire Straits songs on it.
Often it's not the price tag, it's the guitar itself.
Buying high price guitars on the internet is a really dangerous gamble.

The markings probably notate the CNC machine that neck came off of last year.

How does this seller have a 5 star rating on Reverb when this guitar is so obviously fake?

The bridge pickup the holes on the center of the pole pieces i have seen that before on cheap Chinese magnets i think it is something to do with too much force on a lathe

My '54 lap steel pickup has those dents in the magnet poles as well.

In my opinion, I would never trust anything on Reverb.
