Well I thought the farmer across the street was yesterday suggesting "effing alpaca burgers" for tonight, but since we did eventually capture the alpacas and get them penned I think they earned a reprieve.

Those things spit at you, did you know that?

I love me some black eyed peas and collards! Might try to grow collards this winter.

I’m only having a rather non-descript chicken burrito tonight.

Friday, we're too bushed to cook, plus my younger daughter is flying in for Thanksgiving in about an hour. She can pick the take-away.

EDIT: the Original Post sound tasty, but I haven't been converted to collards yet. I think there is still some chard in the garden...

Pork cutlets with left over chana palak, chick peas in spinach. Hey. This is the real world. We eat leftovers. I just finished my cappuccino. Time to practice.

First night shift on a new job I started last week, wish me luck!

We run 24/7 and just eat when there's a lull, so I brought some leftover tilapia and whole kernel corn.

Tomorrow night it'll also be leftovers, crock pot beans and ham.

For me it was steak and kidney pudding(s), spuds, fries, mushrooms in a cream and mustard sauce, yorkshire puddings, cavolo nero and gravy! Still hungry!

Sautéed cauliflower, mushrooms and garlic on a bed of saffron rice. My Queen is vegetarian and it’s her night. Serving up in about ten minutes. The smell in here is incredible right now.

Looks lovely… I love cooking with beans and pulses but don’t do it enough.

We are playing a big private event tonight. Last time the buffet food was superb and the audience wild (almost feral) by the end of the night.

Mmmm…. must pack the gear.
