Years ago I tried the "Fiery Habanero" version with a red shell, which may or may not still be on the menu. I liked it.

Sadly, yes. It was worse than I thought it would be. Doritos are a guilty pleasure I rarely afford myself nowadays. And I find the idea of a dorito taco bell taco the very cosmic end stage of mass consumerism. So on a late night food run when my nihilism kicks in I thought what the hell. But it just a big stale Dorito filled with Taco Bell. It was gawdawful. Taco Bell is awful. But at least it has its own thing going on. I've never equated Taco Bell with Mexican Food, so if I go there I know what to expect. This was actually not what I expected. It was just bad. Don't think I finished it.

I will admit the only thing I get at Taco Bell (and I hardly ever go there nowadays) is pretty much the same thing I used to get when I was a poor starving high school kid 30+ years ago. A regular burrito. Can't kill a flour tortilla with beans, cheese, onions, and some kind of spicy-ish sauce. It's dirt cheap and simple, and far closer to an actual burrito than their tacos are to real tacos. And did I mention cheap? Always some change in the car. And water is free.

"88% “100 percent USDA-inspected premium real beef” and 12% common ingredients like soy, spices, water, and oats. In other words, Taco Bell’s beef is real beef, which when added to their taco sauce forms the mixture which is placed into your taco"

So Taco Casa is just plain beef, and no seasoning? sounds pretty bland and boring

Wouldn't some people call that 12% stuff "filler"? Not saying it's poisonous or anything, just not "unadulterated".

organ meat and meat scraps are real beef too...as well as lips, tongues, anuses, udders, ears and more... you know, like hot dogs.

No, I did not get one. Why would I?

My lunch was leftover homemade tacos al pastor. Doing up the rest of the pork loin this afternoon.

Did you at least wrap it in Doritos? It would definitely taste like something!

I haven't eaten at Taco Bell since I found out that their "meat" is only something like 80% meat.
    Dorito taco...glorified prison food.
Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

I haven't been to Taco Bell for a while, but I would try that if I was going anywhere today.

I'm not too fussy about fast food, especially if it's free.

Ha I saw this on the news the other day the first story : “stay at home and keep on with social distancing!” The story right after that : “everyone come out stand in line and get a free taco”

    Yup that’s worth your life

A good carnitas taco maybe. There's a lot I will do for good tacos. Taco Bell? No way.

It ain't the spice that's the problem; it's those top-notch ingredients Taco Bell uses.

Should Taco Bell be charged for encouraging people to break quarantine? For some mediocre fast food?

I'm pretty sure it's only the drive-thru that's open right now, so you don't stand by anyone.

The other day there was a line of cars about 2 blocks long at Chick Fila. I don't get it, wait in your car for 45 minutes for food? No thanks.

Taco Bell should be charged for foisting their "food" upon the public in the first place.

I agree with @blowtorch and also, stop feeding the trolls dude. Taco Bell haters are even worse than Gibson haters.
