I’m pretty sure we don’t have that down here but a chicken roti sounds good right about now

I got leftovers for lunch: saag paneer, dhal, paratha and raita. Not taking any unnecessary chances going to a fast food place.

Never had a problem with that

YMMV, maybe you can only eat mild and bland and boring food.
Glad I don't have that problem, that would totally suck! :)

    Nope. You can have mine.

Lemme just say that would be way on the bottom of things I would go against CDC stay-at-home recommendations for.

The Taco Bell stores here don't have drive-thru windows. Maybe they're tossing them to people from the front door.

One of the big disadvantages to getting older, is I remember when Taco Bell actually had good food. No, really!.....I'm serious. I haven't had anything there in ten years that wasn't disgusting. (and yes, I've tried them periodically)
I realize other folks don't like the same foods I do, so, blowtorch, I hope you enjoy your Taco Bell. If you were here locally, I'd even get one and give it to you.....but there's no way I could eat it myself.
    Enjoy! (shudder!!!!) ;)

Indeed, sorry if you feel Taco Bell is anything better than mild bland boring!

On a good note; the beef they mix with the textured meat product is 100% real beef product...

I’m in. I don’t have any qualms about Taco Bell. Gonna stop at the local TB after work. Thanks for the intel.

I stand by my statement. If EVERY TIME I had gone to a restaurant in the last decade the food was awful, I wouldn't expect a new variation to be any better. Some people would even say shame on me for giving them more than one or two chances. ;)

You can be 1/4 mile down the road from the Taco Bell parking lot, having spent $ 20.00 there, and you're already hungry again.

    +

Asking someone if they've tried a supposedly tasty Taco Bell product, is like asking a fellow with his arm caught in the jaws of an alligator, if he's ever been bitten by a mosquito. You cannot disqualify people by such a process.

I'm gonna pass. Nothing against taco bell, they're OK but not compelling. But I'm just sticking around the house for now.... Even when there's a drive thru available.

The only places I eat out at are dives with real food (I think), and I try to limit that to 3 or 4 times a year... And I can remember Arby's roasting real roasts back when they first opened. We only have one in Waco and the same family has owned since they opened.
