These were very popular; I'm sure there will be another series in the near future. But given Fender's current backorder status and the issues with the global supply chains the next round might not happen until 2022. As you say their intention with the Vintera Road Worns was to make them limited editions, and the last edition is now sold out (at least Fender has sold all of them to dealers and have no more in their warehouse; they might still be available in stores).

I’m sure they’ll be back as and when, builds hype.

Similarly glad I grabbed one. Trying to get as much of what I wanted to a price tag that I could do was a bit of a challenge but it’s a lot of guitar for the cash and has more than scratched the itch.

Fender Stolen Valor Series.

I had an actual 60s Gibson for a while. Never mind me not being born when it rolled out the factory, my mum might have just about taken her first steps!

All I’m saying is someone else put the marks on that one before me too

The website must have been changed very recently. I believe I was looking at them on the Fender site not more than a week ago and they were still there.

They are definitely cool guitars, but I find them to be too expensive for my liking. I’m sure they’re just as every bit good as the American stuff, but I think my brain is programmed to not want to pay that much for MIM.

I hear you. Over a grand w/o a hardshell case. Maybe my pricing barometer just needs to be recalibrated.

I agree with you guys, it’s steep for a Mexican model. By the same token, how often are you going to see a Fender nitro finished guitar for that price?

I had one here for a day. A few hours of playing was enough for me to realize that the huge neck was t optimal for my hands, although it wasn’t exactly as bad as I anticipated.

I love mine! ‘70s Deluxe. I won it here early this year. I’d never wanted a deluxe. Always hated the big headstock. Now I think of it as almost perfect. The big headstock balances the guitar very well and the individual vol/tone per pickup is something I’ve come to enjoy. The pickups are great. The vintage tuners are good even if the buttons are more modern.
