Unfortunately, it's been discontinued for over a year. They're still around on the used market but some of the listings are asking rather high prices.

+1 on the DD-3. And your kids' grandchildren can pass it down to their offspring.

I think a used Flashback is pretty much a no brainer. Nice balance of having lots of tweakability yet still being simple enough to dial in a good sound with minimal effort.

dd3 for me too cos it's idiot proof, cheap and indestructable.

Yes, I searched and the first one that came up was a sit3 called DHGate which l believe is a MIC knockoff site. Seemed suspicious when Reverb has them for $140-$180. That’s the price range for most I’ve seen.

If you want a cheapo tape echo, the TC Electronic Gauss is pretty decent. Been fooling around with one on my board the last few weeks after a friend let me borrow it to fool with after a jam. It's nothing mind blowing and isn't extremely versatile, but it's cheap, very well built, and does the sound. The mod switch does sometimes seem to go further into worn out tape than you might want, but it's pristine without it.

I vote for the TC Flashback, as well.

I like the Carbon Copy as well, although I wish the mod trim pots were more accessible. And why oh why does it have to look like a bass boat?

The MP Deep Blue is analog...so you're probably not wanting that. It greatly depends on what features you're looking for too. Everyone's delay needs differ.

Are you looking for something that sounds more analog, or digital?

The EHX Memory boy is easily acquired used under $100 too. It averages $60-80 on Reverb.

I’d like to (cough) echo several others on there and suggest the Flashback.

I own the top-shelf X4. I’m not usually one to need lots of bells and whistles, but the X4 has tap tempo. Really useful.

There’s one used on reverb right now for 100. Great deal.

That's exactly what it is...I've seen those. Oddly enough, I don't doubt they're pretty good, lol.

Whoops. Sorry. Didnt see this had already come up.

I hate to be that guy who tries to upsell you, but watch some demos of the Earthquaker Dispatch Master. It's more in the 125 range used, but it's one of the highest regarded "always on" delay/reverbs out there.

How much is the Flashback 2 new in the USA? They can be got for £99 here so I'm assuming on budget. That's a lot of delay for the money.

Another DigiTech DigiDelay user here. I have it i the loop of my amp for a just there kind of sound to fatten things, but I used to have it as my main delay until I got a TC NOVA Delay.

Something simple. Went looking for a chromatic tuner a few months ago - too much stuff on them.

I love the Dispatch Master. I switched to the Belle Epoch for a while, but actually just went back to the Dispatch Master. YMMV, but for me it is just right.
