    December is "Laugh Like Santa" month. Whenever someone says something that you think is funny, you have to laugh like Santa... "HO HO HO!" In real life. You have to. People will understand.

    Christmas is weird.

    Every other month (besides December), if a man in a red velvet suit is standing on a corner saying, “Ho Ho Ho!”, he’ll be arrested for pandering.

    We had "talk like a pirate" day once a year at the local coffee shop. It was a fun tradition. I could get into laugh like Santa month. Unfortunately, the "ho, ho, ho" is difficult through a mask.

    You should try it but you really gotta give it the same exact laugh as Satan... er... Santa. You get really weird looks. I know from experience even after I explained it's December and it's "Laugh Like Santa" month. So I say "Yeah, it's okay if HE comes into your house in the middle of the night with a bag stuffed full of valuables and eats your food and looks at your sleeping kids while you're snoring, but I give you a hearty "HO HO HO! because you just said something funny and I get stink eye?".

    I'm game! I'll give it a shot. 2020 should end with a bang, why not? Even if it means getting odd looks, who cares, I mean, we're all wearing masks! Why not give it a good ole' HO HO HO? I love the idea.

    I know Santa Claus in real life. That, “Ho ho ho!” business is just PR. In person, he laughs like Arnold Horshack. He’s a good guy, though. Really likes his rum.
