Ah, I missed the excitement - Happy "clothing optional" B-Day Dave! I'm almost there myself. Great to see ya all are still around here!

There is a clear shortage of side tuners in the world - those are looking great.

MAY look like a Strat but 1/3 smaller and more complex.

Now from Harbor Freight, the single layer PG blank

How thick is the plastic and how much is the sign compared to a pickguard sheet?

Approximately 1/8 Marty, a little thinner than a pickguard sheet. But have used it twice before, once on Old Blue in the beginning of this thread and it's still going strong lol

Lol,someone neglected the rasp primer.First never rasp straight ahead except gently on transitions.Always hold at a 45 degree angle and PULL straight along the neck. And most important, go WITH the grain. One direction on one side of the neck and the other direction on the other side ;).Help maybe? :D

First replacing the volume pot with a 500k(rail humbuckers) and repairing all the hair thin wires that broke in the process

    85197490_802137663598180_322398554683342848_n.jpg

Then making all those tediously small switch holes (damn you Brian May!)

    87079590_1564216657059161_2871251084087656448_n.jpg

And finally the easy part, setting the input jack o_O:twisted:

I finally got it wired, but if I had it to do over I'd have bought that ridiculously priced Bass VI plate and used 4 standard switches. I only want the ability to change phase on the middle pup . Oh well if ya live, ya learn.
Not much I can do from the side of my bed but this is one :)
