Day One of Recording Our Album

We're rerecording all of those songs, plus seven new ones for our L.P.

Doing it in my living room with my own equipment and some borrowed from my friend.

We're mostly concerned with getting good drum tracks, then we'll overdub. I don't have the proper setup for recording live, plus I want to do some trippy-psychedelic mixing.

For drums, I'm using a 3-mic mono-overhead setup. I learned that Superstition was recorded this way, and I've learned that mono drum mixes can help put the drums more up front in the mix, something I'm very interested.

Anyway, take a listen to our unmixed/scratch take from today and let me know what you think of the sounds we're getting, and of course constructive feedback is encouraged.
