That's exactly what it was-an irrational, panic-induced hoarding frenzy. Essential businesses are still up and running, and that includes supermarkets.

Tell ya wut, tho......I'm going to finally get that problematic, fingerstyle version of 'Ghost Riders In The Sky', figured out (in my goofy open tuning yet)...or kind of figured out, then I'm going to see if I can post a crappy video of it here. I'm not going to make my house-bound wife suffer alone on this deal.

Folks in the know say that their fur is softer than Charmin. Just throwing that out there in case it comes in handy down the road...

Just turned my Tone Master Twin in the 12 watt setting up to 5 and the reverb to 4. Sounds great with my Gretsch.

Yikes today is Day 14 for me. I went into the office 2 weeks ago today and they sent us all home.

Been working from home.. it's taken at least a week to really get in the swing of it.

“Stay home” for non-essential starts Friday here. I’m considered essential. I manage our town’s municipal liquor store (sad really). I may play my I-have-no-spleen card...I guess that makes me more vulnerable. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll play the card that my 13 year old daughter has a heart condition. My wife already played that card and won the hand...she gets to stay home at full pay.
I need the time off as I have an amplifier to build. Priorities after all.

I managed to get to the Costco today. Not hard, really, I live about 1/4 mile from the busiest one in Arizona.

This is a really strange kind of shortage. Piles of most stuff, except still no TP. No Pasta either.

They have lifted the 2 case restriction on bottled water, and seemed to have plenty.

I did feel like a filthy disease carrier when I got to the checkout. They have put up "sneeze guards" at all the lanes. Also, they clerk scans your card while you hold it, and hands you the receipt with a latex gloved hand. On the way out, the receipt checker glanced at the paper and waved me through without touching anything.

Then back home to finish out my day of work.

Really strange how all this makes me feel even more isolated.

1000+ deaths and rising. And it's coming your way. April 16th? Are you really that naive? I try to maintain a sense of humor, but there are those of you that just seem oblivious.
My kids called it the boomer remover...
Maybe having your heads placed firmly in your asses will keep you from catching it.

There was a reason we banned Covid19 talk.
Do you all see how this one has spiraled out of control?
