slow down lads, chill out.... take the opportunity to rest up... if you can't do anything about it, best not waste energy stressing about it...

go on a food fast maybe.. clear your body as well.... ;)

I've been retired almost 4 years. I do exactly what I have done for 4 years: sit on the couch, scratch on a guitar, search for 2 hours on amazon/Netflix for something good I haven't seen 10 times.

    what crises?

Been working from home since last Tuesday. I've even lost a few pounds despite having a big dinner on the weekend. I'm skipping my mid morning and mid afternoon snacks that I used to have at work so that helps. Started feeling a little stir crazy on the weekend so I got out for a 30 minute walk in the sunshine. Felt good. I'm looking a little rough though...I haven't shaved in over a week and I don't recall having a grey beard when I last grew one 25 yrs ago.

I'm not home. Apparently, I'm essential. (Stop laughing)

Thanks a lot Dan R, very nice of you, i hope for the best in Usa and the World on this as well.
I only go out for grocery shop and pharmacy if i need for my dad, no walk around, the restrictions for going out are getting heavier, i think it's the only solution to get out of this situation, until the past week you could see too many people in the parks with kids and walking around like everything was normal so the govern had to make heavier restriction and i agree with what they are doing, i was very angry with those people....

Thanks Electric Mud, the only advice is stay home as much as you can, the little village in north Italy where there was many people infected is getting better because everybody is basically locked at home, also in Wuhan in China the same thing is happening, they did it first actually.

So i only go out for food and pharmacy.

I don't think there are other solutions, unfortunately some idiots didn't take it seriously and kept on going out.

You don't to do that if you hope that everything will be over.

Cases are doubling and nobody seems to be taking it seriously. There's a posts in this thread that highlights the mentality here.

I'm "essential" as well, but I'm fairly reclusive when I'm not working anyway so my life hasn't changed much in that regard.

Sounds like my life exactly! I used to just walk into class and teach- now it takes hours to prep my videos and online assignments through our clunky system. Interacting with students is the fun part. This is just work.:( But I am incredibly thankful that I'm still working and getting paid!

We're not under lockdown here, we don't live in an urban area, we weren't at a crowded beach, we weren't at a grocery store or pharmacy, we weren't anywhere near other people besides the two other shut-ins we met, we don't go out unnecessarily for anything other than this one time to keep our sanity and to remind ourselves that the world hasn't really ended quite yet.

    Regards.

    Missing Slack, hating Teams.

IT made us switch right before we all went on WFH.

Nobody ever got fired for choosing Microsoft mentality.

Kinda lost count of dayso_O My wife says it's good we retired a couple years ago, so we're used to spending a lot of time together.

Tomorrow we are going to try out curbside grocery pick up, and also bring supplies to my mom. She's going a little batty, but is beginning to understand the situation...

Here is the advantage of being an antisocial hermit: Everyone is now coming down to my level. Nothing has changed for me!
