Don't want to be the magician revealing secrets of my trade but I win big getting the other side of an email to deliver it up to court when my guy destroys it and claims irrecoverable

I can guarantee you one thing - you're not going to see some insane CEO of any of those companies show up on one of your networks ranting and raving about the injustice and later show up at No 10 Downing w/ a bunch of overpriced blue guitars...

My favorite part was the quote about the investigation being at the informal stages. Hello, we’re here for an informal raid and forced look at your files...LOL

There's a former Gibson retailer in my town who stopped selling those guitars because of their requirements - he now carries Epiphone and they're selling like hotcakes.

They couldn't afford it anyway. We've fixed the price to make sure of it.

Gibson's documents were patently not valid. Folks in the Environmental Activist community knew what had been done; there's no reasonable argument that Gibson was somehow blindsided. if you just read the pages of the Audubon Magazine you'd know what was up here. Gibson should've been prosecuted more fully, but Gibson's financial situation was so precarious and the Feds didn't want Gibson to be dissolved. That's fair enough. Henry J did eventually pay for his crimes, by losing dominion over his little empire.

Fender and a slew of others are being investigated for price fixing of items that are not even central to FMIC's business model. Guilty or not, we don't really know yet, but best I can tell it won't amount to much. Suppose FMIC was involved in unsafe labor conditions for the overseas workers making T-shirts and caps - that's about how important this current case is to FMIC as I understand the business.

With all due respect, just as fantastic a remark as the last time you posted it.

Bless your heart. I know it can be difficult for slower people to keep up sometimes, but I'm sure you'll do better next time.

    Great.

England has only got this Island, and now they have to share it with two others?

    Bad luck, indeed! :^)

Re-read what Six String Slinger had to say, up above your post. Multiple Manufacturers all get together, allegedly, set wholesale prices unnaturally high; leaves the dealers with no means to reduce the price, and the customers have to pay an abnormal price or try to smuggle the wares in from elsewhere. In this market, the UK decision makers wanna protect their dealers and their customers, and prevent smuggling and prevent big foreign concerns from scoring excess profits, or so that's the nature of their undertaking.

That's the idea - the real question is, did these entities really conspire, and do the UK authorities have adequate proof they did - if they did?

We're very slow here. We've been waiting and waiting for you to provide us with even some scraps of documentation of this fairy tale yarn you keep dropping on us. Despite all the opportunities, you've presented us with nothing. We're just gonna be patient here, and wait some more for you to make good on your claims. Your reputation is in your own hands. We wish you all the luck in the world.
