From a snapshot taken mid 80's. Skunk spot on headstock, truss access at other end. Looks 70's to me. Three saddle bridge, blonde, could count screws in pickguard if you like.

That bottom E string is a Fender Bullet from 1972. Used to have one myself.

I could most certainly accurately date the guitar from this photo... if it were slightly lower resolution.

It's a 1979 Telecaster, transparent blond, 1 piece maple neck, black dot markers, 21 frets with moderate to heavy wear in the first five frets, original pickups, bridge has been rewound to 7.2 K, electronics (pots date 14th week of '79), bridge tuners and hardware are all original, original b-w-b pickguard, 1-11/16" nut (replaced in 1991), 25-1/2" scale, with OHSC.

Or, it could be some kind of Tiesco.

Brilliant! You're wrong on the nut though... that was early '92.

That's odd. Here's a pic of my buddy's '72. The pic is a little old... but I can clearly see the difference between the two. Fakes?

Chancerubbage? Where you at man? You're missing all these friendly jabs (and poor attempts at humor).

Anyway man... you gotta read your original post and know that the guitar in the picture could be anything. Probably need some better pics of the entire guitar if you want a legit answer.

I'm curious to know what you're hoping to learn by identifying this particular guitar.

Can't really say from that one photo. The resolution is bad and many more pictures of the guitar would be needed to allow you to get the most help possible :)

That's a Strat... not a Tele. Wrong forum. Moderator, please move this post.
