    Hi!

I recently stumbled across some threads where someone had made a Dano Pro clone/copy.

I was wondering if anyone had blueprints/plans they would be willing to share?

The thread was about 10 years old I believe.
Upon reading it, I wasn’t sure if it was the 25” reissue scale or original 21” scale, but I’m hoping for the 25” scale.

    Thanks!

I seem to recall I made a template for one of those last year...Lemme dig through my files, if I can't find it I should be able to make one by this week-end!

If it's Olav's thread it's the original. I sent him the reissue body pattern and have it here somewhere lol

Oh, yeah, I remember this one from the OffsetGuitars board! This one is an absolute beauty, and so are your amps. Where are you based in France? I'd love to pay you a visit one of these days.

I can make a template for that too :) But since it's a critical part of the instrument and I made this template from pictures rather than from the actual guitar, it might be safer asking someone who has one for measurements. What bridge/string spacing are you planning to use? That's easily workable into a neck geometry. I can do the headstock, in any case.

I’m not sure what the standard specs are for the reissue, but based on what I’ve seen online I was thinking 42mm/1.65 nut width and 2 1/16th/52.5mm bridge string spacing.

I am not really sure what I am doing here, but I was going to try to get some help with my first build.
    I appreciate the help!

the Danelectro Pro1 plan can be found on the Dutch Luthier site- JACA Luthier
Jan van Capelle draw it and sell the PDF for $25
should be perfectly accurate - His Stratotones 42 - 44 plans are super ( as I own these guitars, I checked !)
    thedutchluthier.worldpress.com
Jan also wrote a book how to built masonite guitars -
