    Noooo !

    I love Daniel Johnston
Not always a fan of his recordings but some of his songwriting is superb to me
Only been into him for a few years but I’ll miss him

I’m not gonna pretend to be some deep digger of his catalogue but the songs I’ve heard are good writing to me , i just listened to pretty much what ever pops up on a Daniel Johnston play list on you tube usually starting with “true love will find you in the end” and there’s a version of “hard time” I like I don’t know a lot about the man but seemed like a good soul albeit with some demons every one has
“Story of an artist” is a good one too almost forgot about that one

I recommend watching the documentary about him. It's not only a brilliant glimpse into the life and struggles of a and once promising and talented artist but at mental illness and the incredible bond between father and son.

    Devil Town

Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Your Grievances

True Love Will Find You in the End

    Great songs.

“ Walking the cow” is another great song. I’ve only skimmed his music. There is a great documentary called “the devil and Daniel Johnston” that is worth watching to understand his songs a bit better.

Ah, I know who he is now! I saw the doc a couple of years ago. Very interesting. Gone too soon.

Absolute legend. Wouldn't have minded dropping lucy with him and Jad Fair and creating the album of the millennium....
