Dangit...I was having enough trouble deciding between metallic orange and the Olympic White. Now they added a fab green option for the Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar.

To me olympic white is still the best choice, but this green is sooo nice.... good luck with your decision, in any case you will have a great guitar.

Looks cool in green...somehow a very "jaguar" colour. I still like metallic orange best though.

Green is the color! White is on everything and the orange is unique, but still just a faded red. But green, c'mon you almost never see green outside of surf/sea foam, and when this green is gone the white and orange will remain.

I owned one for a few days and sent it back. Sounds beautiful, looks beautiful, but:

    - Fairly weighty (and I'm a bassist normally),
    - Not great QC (paint had not cured etc),
    - Mis-aligned neck.

I also couldn't handle the fact these guitars chip completely (as in you see the bare wood) with the lightest tap. Not my thing.

I want one but thicker nitro or just poly with a lower price point.

Hmm, I wonder if they are all weighty? That is one thing that I don't mind, actually. I grew up in the era where the heavier the guitar the better. But it does drag after a long night. I think the green and white will age nicely, especially since I am very hard on guitars usually. I don't purposefully bash them or anything, but I like much wine during practices. I need to look for a picture of an Johnny's personal orange after heavy play. They probably all age nicely if thin skinned. I play mine till they die, so I don't mind the aged been around look.

It'd be cool if there was a relic version of the Johnny Marr Jag. But yeah, much more fun to let it happen naturally! I hardly ever drink when playing guitar, so mine don't get dinged that much.

All three colors are great, I like white, the orange is cool but I think I'd go for the green as it's my favorite color. I shouldn't have looked at this thread.

I know, as soon as I saw the picture of the green one Johnny was holding, it was too late. I've played devils advocate unwittingly.

There are a couple still out there, but if you want one you might have to look at a lot of alternate sources.

Candy Red is my favorite color for a Jag. If Johnny had put red as an option , the coice would have been made. I think I just need to buy four of them to get the color wheel settled. I'll just continue on with my Esquire until then.

He has a black one he plays live. Supposedly Fender made him the black and green by his request for his latest tour. Then released the green as a special edition. I'd be all over the black one personally. Otherwise I'd go with white and put a Spitfire tort guard on it.

Orange or green, you really can't lose.

Wish Fender offered more guitars in these colours.

The green is getting favored at this point...but the Oly white is really close, too. I'd like to see that green in person. I know either will be wicked. He's done good with the specifications.
