I can see your house from here.
If you're a Dano owner and you're fed up with sagging bridges and compromised intonation, I recommend the Jeff Senn Guitars replacement bridge.
I'm still tweaking the setup but this little guitar has been transformed. Still has the same vibrant tone, just more of it, and the stability of this quality piece is a vast improvement over the original.
The price is right for this unit which includes all screws, bolts, springs, brass bridge pieces, and the plate itself. Took me about a half hour to install.

I have one on my Danelectro Baritone, thanks to the previous owner. GC heavily discounted it since it was modified so I got quite a bargain price on it.

Lucky you! This is one mod that adds real value, IMO.

Yoiks! GC dropped the ball there! Those bridges are the cat’s proverbial a** for Danelectros, and they are not inexpensive. They are also a relatively well-known upgrade, and a major guitar store should have been smart enough to be using it as a selling feature. You win!

I used one on my Bass VI.

It actually plays properly now!

Your saddles look way too forward. How does it play? Does it intonate?

The only thing I didn't like about the original bridge is that it bowed in the middle. I would imagine it would be possible to make one out of stronger metal.

I have a 6-saddle bridge on my Dano U3 Baritone. Will the Senn bridge intonate property for low A-A tuning?

I used one of his bridges on a build. It was a noticeable improvement.

I've got one of these on mine.

It didn't change the amplified sound ( that I could tell ) but did make it sound a smidge brighter played acoustically. I think.

I put one of these on a Korean U2 with a collapsed bridge and it did change the sound. It made it better. Strong thumbs up.

I have a 1990's Korean Dano. I don't play it much but haven't really had issues with the wooden bridge. I do like this upgrade though. How much is one of these bridges?

I have a DC59 coming tomorrow with the original wood type bridge because I wanted the original tone.

The cheap way to fix it and keep it from bending is to put a spacer across and under the bridge to support it. That may also change the tone unless wood is used.
