Price? I'd probably buy that if it's WAY under Surfybear $, like 1/3rd the price.
Pretty sure it's got a digital element like the original.

Oh man, I want one. I recently picked up a used Ventris. I really wanted a Surfy Bear, but the versatility and size of the Ventris (the tank algorithm is great, albeit a little noisy) won out.

This looks like it strikes a nice balance between sound and size though.

I’m good for reverb, but that looks like a winner to me. I always wanted a Spring King, but I can barely make room for a normal-sized pedal. If I didn’t have spring reverb in an amp, I’d be all over that.

In the video, the spring sounds more like a "rattle" than a "crash" when shaken. The reverb itself is cool, but one of the main reasons I bought the original Spring King was the ability to give it a good kick when needed.

Oleg really gets that crash just right

I still feel a little scared to kick my amp

I signed up just to share in this thread, I got one and to me it sounds like there’s still a delay chip doing most of the heavy lifting. It sounds less like a reverb, more like a slapback with many repeats. Could just be the sound of small springs but I don’t really like it. I reckon it’ll be a while before anyone mods them so I’m torn on returning it. It has potential but I’m not sure yet.

Just like an original one. Yes, you obviously could not do just Fender Reveb Tank into this tiny pedal. What you can get is more springy flavour and nice kicking experience. And this is what you get.
Pretty much the same experience with my White Whale v2.

If you need full authentic spring tank experience, check Surfy Industries. Great sound, but not pedalboard friendly.

Review from John at Premier Guitar a couple days ago...

At about 4:23-ish I hear what I think @sabby-2025 was describing, a slapback with many repeats. Which can be a fun sound, don't get me wrong, but doesn't really make me think "spring reverb" (YMMV, yada, yada).
