Anybody using a Danelectro Daddy-O overdrive? Thoughts?
It’s been a while because mine eventually broke, but I loved it when it was working. Great crunch tones.
The crappy plastic input jack separated from the circuit board.
Nice sounding pedal, questionable build quality.
My Daddy-O seems to be made of metal, not plastic.I used one for about 5 years. For whatever silly reason, I loved the shape of those pedals and I wanted 'opposite boutique' and I used that and the dan echo. I thought they were great. The daddy O is a nice warm drive and smooth.
I did have to do some repairs over the years from hard, constant use, the plastic stuff was a necessary grounding evil IIRC... not hard to fix. Steve Soest is the man.
