The Dallas guitar show was this weekend. I wasn’t going to go but some buddies talked me into it, so I snapped a bunch of cell pics while I was there. Prices haven’t dropped any , but it was still kinda cool to see a lot of the vintage gear. Here’s some pics if you’d like to see any....just some things I found interesting.

I haven't been to the Dallas show in years. I've been meaning to make it for a while now, Arlington as well (seeing as how I'm round the corner from it. I'm bored with the shows, but I'm hoping I'll run into people I haven't seen in a very long time. In particular, there's a guy who had a shop in Lewsiville called Texas Guitar and Sound. His name was Jim Russell, and I've wondered what he's up to since he closed shop in the 2001.

Where was it this year? Looks like Market Hall.

I try to drive up from Dallas every other year or so. It can be sensory overload for sure.

Heritage Auctions had a display of guitars Graham Nash is auctioning off sometime in the near future. The next few pics are of some of those guitars including Dave Davies Flying V from the early kinks days. Couple of Johnny Cash and Everly Bros guitars as well.

And finally, the coolest thing I saw all day...

I wanted one of these so bad when I was a kid. Had to settle for a Sears Spyder.
