wow. we are a humorless lot, aren't we. the guy is trying to be funny and have some fun with getting rid of his guitar.

I think he means that he got the guitar as a bonus from work in appreciation for doing something good for his company.. it is probably a cool guitar (for a molar machine) and he just wants something else... what is the big sin here?

I don't get it. Does the guitar cost more if Mommy's services are included or less?

That was even hard to get through.... I guess it takes all kinds (trying to be funny but really the exact opposite in my book)... poor poor momma to put up with that! :D

He does seem a bit goofy but I don’t fault him selling it if he doesn’t want or play it. There are guys who sell their Super Bowl or World Series ring so no biggie.

I don't care at all if he sells it, but I just wouldn't want someone else's employee guitar, it would feel weird. And I sure wouldn't pay a premium for it. Well, he's weird, so that matches.

For entertainment I didn't have to pay for, I enjoyed that CL post. Better than the usual "got a sweet guitar here, plays like buttah, she's a beaut, give me 130% of the new retail price or go die in a fire, I know what I have, THANKS."
