Wait for it... wait for the end...
Jerry Cantrell ftw
That one’s a classic. I love Cantrell’s explanation of how hard it is to get a woman to a Rush concert.
Woh! I was totally entertained by that! Thanks, that was so.....lots of stuff!
"Think 'The Fountain of Lamneth!" Great. I know a drummer that might get that, but haven't seen him in about thirty years.
What’s a Wilco?
Yeah that was good... because I'm nearly that!
The end is classic, after the fight it's all off until a chick comes along and it's "yeah we have a band"...
Living one long sunrise
For to me all things are new
I've never watched the sky grow pale
Or strolled through fields of dew
I do not know of dust to dust
I live from breath to breath
I live to climb that mountain to
The Fountain of Lamneth!!
On a side note, what was with that "Getting grayer and fatter" line in the closing song? Is there no such thing as ageing with dignity anymore?!
The beginning hit too close to home. My band practices in my garage. I go through the exact same routine of clearing the stuff out ( into the driveway) then sweeping to make space for rehearsal. My garage door even looks the same. During the pandemic we’ve hardly rehearsed and only on the front lawn to maximize ventilation.
Nice. I have to say, it’s a good 6 minute bit that needs an editor, but it’s still a good bit. And I think I might know one or two of those guys...
I think half of this forum at least can relate to the video. One of my faves.
Yep, they’re a band.
Wasn't there a poll, and the largest segment were over 50? I'm thinking the under 30 crowd is less than 10%? I mean, non-FB www URLs, forums, and telecasters pretty much filter out anybody under 30.
I'm 35, and I'll probably never have kids, but I'm pretty sure that guitar player is me in 15 years! xD
I notice the obligatory fr\\'fridge for the beers.
Hell I had to put up with my son's Garage Band until I could get out to my " mancave" for a beer.
I had a sense that the neighbor at the beginning would make a reappearance.
Pretty sure I’ve quit that iteration of band already.
Minus the talented players of course.
