I've posted here in the past about these nice covers and their awesome service.

Turns out that the excellent gentleman who ran the company and did all the orders and customer service passed away unexpectedly. It sounds like the folks there are really struggling to decipher his whole computer system -- obviously a small shop.

    So:

    1. If you have an order in with them, you should check in. I did and they promised to ship it right out.

    2. If you were planning an order, I'd check in with them by email (the address on their website still worked for me) to see how they're doing -- they were going to try to 'slow the flow' for a while to catch up.

    3. This *isn't* a warning about their product or service -- if they can continue their quality and revive their customer service system, I will definitely use them in the future.

That is tragic. He lost his wife last year. He will be sorely missed. An outstanding guy who had a great product. I have them on all my amps. Condolences to his family.

Tom Palmer was a great businessman. Fair, honest and respectable. I have purchased dozens of covers from him over the years and he will be sorely missed.

Yeah, I was saddened. Tom was the definition of customer service. On a positive note, the gentleman who answered my email to Tom within the hour said my email let him check my order of last week -- it was ready -- he'd shipped it out -- and sure enough the tracking showed up an hour later. Here's hoping they can right the ship.

Oh, that's awful. I've bought maybe 20 of his covers over the years. He was always great to work with.

Yeah, they can't replace Tom. Here's hoping they can keep his good business and nice covers going. Glimmer of hope is my cover showed up 2 days after I got the tracking number, which was in turn just an hour after I emailed them to check on my order...

    Yes he was.

I was gonna bump this thread anyway just to note the company, which was all Tom, is indeed out of business. I’ll miss dealing with him.

Yup - I got a bunch of standards and a few custom orders from him over the years. Sad to hear.

I was just looking to send some more business his way, great guy. Too bad it looks like no one kept it going.
