Just got this 62 Custom Heavy Relic today. I have never been a big fan of the heavy relics but this one checked all the boxes:

    - 6.2 lbs
    - .98" at the first fret
    - Duncan Antiquity P90 neck
    - Josephine Hand Wound Twisted Tele bridge.
    - WildWood 10 radius dark rosewood board
    - 6105 Dunlop fret wire

Very playable and sounds great! The P90 just sings.

That neck is just fricking AWESOME...

    3 questions:

    1.What's your address?

2.Do you lock your doors at night?

    3. Are you armed?

    Thank you in advance.

    Yep. luv it!

I am a big fan of their Heavy Relic and prefer this over a shiny new look.

And its got a P90.

Very unique with the P90. Love the WW10 models and the folks at Wildwood are top notch! Congrats!

    Is that Shoreline Gold?

    That is absolutely gorgeous.

How did Fender do the wiring for the P90? 3 way or 4 way? 250k or 500k pots, or one of each? No load tone pot?

    What size tone cap(s)?

    Trebble bleed? Grease bucket?

In other words, how did they get the P90 to play nice with a Tele bridge pickup?

I don't know the specs on the pots and caps. None of that information is on the floor traveler.

It has a 3 way switch. I think the P-90 is under wound enough to play nice with the bridge pick up. And, Josephina may have over wound the bridge a touch.

It sounds really good in the middle position. The neck pickup has some spank to it but, if you roll the tone off a bit it gets real smooth and creamy.

Not a relic fan but a Telecaster is a Telecaster and every time I see one I just want to play it.

I never was either but, this is the second heavy relic guitar I have ever owned and both of them sounded better than anything else both unplugged and plugged in.

    Go figure.

Thank you.. if you ever turn the control plate over, let me know? I really love how I did my setup, I am just really curious how Fender addressed the issue in house.
