Try Dale Sherlock. Great tube amps I've been told. Regards.

One of the better virus writers too by the way my anti-virus went off on his site...

    +1 on Sherlock Amplifiers

Jamie (blargfromspace) has one of Dale's Custom 30s. I'm a Vox guy, but..... DROOOOOL....

    And Dave Ulbrick's Ulbricksound... [IMG]

No affiliation, apart from Dale Sherlock fettles my amp when it needs it, and Dave Ulbrick used to "back in the day".

I'm sure there are others, and doubtless some good builders in Sydney also.

Sherlock, for sure. That blue one up there ^ in Dave's post is mine. You'll get a new one for just a bit more than a Fender Twin, but they're immaculately made with a sound to match.

MI Audio might be worth a look. I've not tried one yet - I'm more of a combo guy - but the Iron Duke looks really nice and is a pretty damn good price too when you consider the equivalent US/UK made amp.

My Ratajczyk 15 watt Cream Reverb is nothing short of wonderful.

Those stereo vibrato amps look like heaps of fun.

    Hi Dave O

Cheers for the suggestions guys, shot off a couple of emails... I probably should have been a bit clearer - I was chasing someone to make me a JCM800 / Plexi hybrid (2204 preamp section into 2061 power amp stage)
