It may be that they were able to confirm methane which would be an indicator of life.

they concluded that the methane was carried to Mars by the craft and was captured in the Florida air on liftoff. once they ran another test the Methane was not present.

I know that was the first report on methane, but I am not convinced that it was a final determination. It is possible they have found more samples since then.

It`s the `Illudium` space modulator, or `Illudium Fosdex, the shaving cream molecule` in Duck Dodgers.
It`s kind of a non story? ? We can`t tell you what it is, or is it breaking it to us gently, don`t panic in the streets . . .

    Brother Dave Gardner would know

    "This one little saucer comes
    wingin' in from the infinite.
Sets down. Cuts off its little
    magnetic, protective shield.

Out bounds a bunch of happy little
    spacemen 'bout seven inches tall.
    Just lookin' under rocks and
    leaves.

One of 'em says, "Hey, man. What
    we lookin' for?"

Other one says. "Little bitty women!"
