The grocery store I shop at has offered curbside pickup for a while. I recently started using it, love it...

BTW, pinto beans cooked in beef bone broth are awesome...

Doing the bring-it-to-me thing As well.
Not as much fun but, for now, it works.

I've been doing it for a year now. I don't like crowds, even 3 can be a crowd.

With all due respect, there are numerous threads in play right now having to do with various ways of coping with the current situation we all have found ourselves in. IME, they have all been supportive and have helped members spirits in light of an otherwise difficult time. I see nothing but healing, and no mention of the cause of it all. I would like to compliment the mods for keeping it up beat and the members for the same.

I'm glad this service is available, especially for my parents who are in their 80's but can still get around OK.

My preference so far has been to mostly shop at small, local, stores and smaller chains. Their prices may be a bit higher and selection a bit more limited but they aren't madhouses like WalMart or Kroger.

I have always disliked going to the big chain grocery store near me until about a year ago when they added online shopping and curbside pickup for free. Now I don’t have to get the kids out of the car, we just park and they load it up. Been using it for my weekly groceries for a year, saves me almost 1 hour every week, feels like a life hack.

Our local music store, Atomic Music in Beltsville, MD has curbside pickup too! Stop in and get yourself a Fender Twin brought out to the car!

I like to do my own shopping. I don't consider it a waste of time. Sometimes run into friends while maintaining a social distance..

i think its been about 20 years since I was last there.

Hmm. i just realized I will need to figure out where they are. They moved since my last visit.....

Some stores are offering it here but I like to pick out my produce, meats, and other non canned items. Someone else’s idea of what a tomato, cucumber, avocado, or whatever may be different than mine. Sure, I’ll take that melon with the big brown soft spot over the nice firm unblemished one

Put in in the trunk, boys!

My wife just texted me that she prepaid for a big bag of dog for for Harley and they will leave it curbside for her.

I bought two big bags of dog food, just in case. If there is any left when this is over, I'll feed it to the dogs. :D

The two big grocery chains here in Houston have had it functioning for a while. We used it, but the problem with the shortage, a lot of items ordered were not available and they have no way to let you know easily just what all isn't available. I'm sure as time goes on it will get better but for most things I go to a local store nearby.

Tomorrow I’ll be going to Stop and Shop first thing in the morning. The first hour and a half they’re open is for 60 and over shoppers only. Woohoo! I think this counts as my first senior citizen benefit!

If I were to buy a Twin, I'd have to get home delivery.....not just brought to the car. Don't know if I could carry one into the house by myself anymore. :)

I know I’m out. I almost threw my back out carrying my Deluxe up one flight of stairs.
