    Perhaps to promote the film?
    To mimic the Zevon/Letterman swan-song?
To reveal how essential Stills & Nash actually were?
Or maybe you'll really like it.
    ymmv

Good job. It appears kinda sparse on vocals after hearing the trio so much.
    Go Croz!

    Loved it.

No critical comments from me. That was real music. Would have been cool to see someone like Carlos Santana sitting in on that song too.

They would have to be friends for that

Wasn't Neil the only essential one?

Well it could have been Nash

    Perhaps to promote the film?
    Woodstock?

Graham still has a beautiful voice. Stephan is one struggling.

I thought Croz sounded strong. Loved it.

Much better than I was expecting. Really great, in fact. The Roots are awesome.

As a person- not a general David Crosby fan. That being said- strong performance. I thought he sounded excellent!

I like it. The Roots are consistently tite, why would they every be trashed by anyone? People with no sense of rhythm probably :)

Croz is a great talent, but his ego gets the better of him.

Nicely done, but it reveals the magic of the CSN vocals. That simply can't be duplicated.

    Oh, I'm down w/ that - Love me some Roots. . .

I can't imagine anyone trashing Roots, but I sincerely miss the jewel-like quality of C S and N vocals blending and soaring. It's hard to accept it, but that boat has sailed.

    Peace - Deeve

Oh I love that one. Everyone is ALL the way into it. Every time Stills blows a spazz you can see C&N grinning their heads off.

Croz is supposed to sound more than only strong. There's supposed to be a sweetness; a beauty to his voice and I think it is still out there - or has been somewhat recently. Just not here.

This particular song, although I liked it, never showcased David's voice well in the first place.

    +

Btw, just when you think Steve has destroyed his voice once and for all, then he really knocks one out of here.

I thought I wanted to see David again, the most, but now it would be Neil and/or Steve.....I think.

    +

As for Graham, unless he somehow resurrects the Hollies, or can sing some duets with Don Everly or something, I have no further use for him. His current songbook is crummy, I think.

    David Crosby is a treasure.

But if it wasn't for his oversized ego, he'd have passed long ago. I'll take him warts and all.
