I think I saw a movie with mick jagger in it about Ned kelly
Big-time criminals still wear suits
Yes... yes it is! LOL!! I put on a Jos A. Banks suit that I had in the closet, for the first time in 5 years, just last weekend and going to a "so called" swanky joint. Turns out, it was hype... they didn't have a dress code, as I was told. So... I was the sharpest dressed dude in the place, and boy... did the chickadee's come out to see what I was about! Wow... BUT! I got the golden band on the right left hand this time, and I wasn't fishin' so... they were duped It was fun though!
When I have to wear a suit I make sure it's a cheap one, so people think I'm a cop and leave me alone.
The criminals that broke into my stuff and stole my 1966 EB3 and 1978 Black Beauty and amps, Fender Reverb Tank and collectibles, memorabilia and autographed stuff were not wearing that. Sorry. I love the history of American criminals that piped the sensationalism. Think of how many lives were ruined. Gimme a G Man with a clean pipe.
Oh, I thought you were talking about fit for a second there.
I wouldn't wear a suit even to a funeral. I'll stick to my cargo shorts, thank you.
We'd all look better if they let us pose like that in our mugshots.
...ooops. I've said too much.
I don't know how anybody did anything other than commit crimes back in the days before CCTV, fingerprints, or DNA sequencing. You could kill someone and just say, "Oh bob? Yeah it was wolverines " and people would just have to accept it.
I have a Kiton
They used to have more fun too...
yep and Waylon was on the soundtrack singing a song called,
'Blame It On The Kellys.'
So, it was ok to be a ruthless, cold blooded killer as long as you dressed well?
I have picked up exactly two Kiton over the years. One was a cashmere sportcoat I still have. The other was a Cashmere/Vicuna blend topcoat. I paid $30 and sold it for $1100. One of the better flips in my life.
Still is, always has been. Just look at the people at Wall Street.
Tery, as you may be aware, there are some versions of the photo you posted that were inadvertently printed in reverse, leading people to incorrectly believe that Billy the Kid was left-handed.
(Or it may be another photo, but I did see that picture reversed in a google image search.)
I’ve worn one to funerals plenty of times; I got a black one especially for those occasions (dress code’s pretty strict over here for stuff like that). I won’t say that wearing a suit is the worst part about going to a funeral, but it’s definitely the second-worst part...
