It was nothing of gravity. Mostly frustration, I imagine. He's a good guy, in a very limiting place.
Daveeee,Herb is here!!!
You should have get in the hospital earlier so we can meet all together again,Rich -Herb etc...
Lol I am kidding about the hospital!
'Glad to hear that Dave's condition is improving...good signs there!
This is terrible to hear. Prayers for you and your family, Brother Dave!
Yeah, he's going to have a difficult road ahead with PT. And of course his advanced age won't help that...
Seriously, prayers for quick and easy recovery, my friend.
Sorry I'm late to thread, but I will keep Dave in my prayers. I can't believe that happened to him. I hope his recovery is smooth and quick.
Glad to hear he's doing better. PT will be a pain, but I'm sure he'll get through it.
If you read this Dave.................pull finger out and get going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You still have 1,699 guitars to make!!
Recover quickly you old coot, we miss you!
Go Dave! Go!
cheer up, Dave... it could have been your guitar..
. unless it was in the back of your truck...
Thinking of you and sending good vibes, brother.
A little backstory.. Dave and I have been friends for about 10 years, and have grown pretty tight over the past year.. He eggs me on, offers opinions and insights into my goofy projects (and everything else) and pours gas on the fire when I'm sitting on the fence.
His situation is tragic, but temporary. I look forward to our marathon video calls- often like having a coworker while in my own isolation.. Nice to have somebody who has similar interests, passions, and imagination on tap. Also nice to have somebody gutsy enough to speak his mind without reservation, without fear of hurt feelings, or other fallout. We should all be so fortunate.
A broken back is bad, a brain bleed is way worse. Thoughts and prayers to him.
I believe both of those concerns have been addressed successfully. He's beat to s**t, but recuperating. Shoulder and arm are of more concern than his leg or hip, the rest seems to be lower priority from what I have been able to ascertain.
Hmm.. been calling him all day, no answer.
Probably busy chasing the nurses around.
A little sanding will recuperate the arm & shoulder pretty quick
I reached out to his son, good reports. I guess he's busy, which is a good sign.
Good to hear he's improving.
on the mend... sweet.... good to hear the worst of it is behind you, Dave....
no internal complications only bones to heal up..... it's going to take some time, though..... and we'll be here to annoy you...
I hope you don't have a lot of stairs at home.....
speaking of Bones... haven't seen him for a few weeks either..?
Prayers from Middle TN, Brother Dave. I hope you make a full recovery, and get the heck out of the hospital.
