Get well soon Dave! You have a guitar to finish, brother!
Prayers for a speedy recovery!
We are all with you Dave. Get well soon!
Dog is home safe, I can't reach him yet.
Wow...sending good thoughts to Brother Dave!
Seems like Good Folk, sending all my strongest mental JuJu his way.
Hope you are getting the best care and heal quickly!
Aw man, come on Dave, hang in there!
Thanks for the updates Rich. Please keep em coming.
Oh man , get well soon, Dave
Just spoke with him, he's coherent.
I let him know of your well wishes, he was appreciative.
Dave also said to say hello.
He's banged up pretty well, they reattached his humerus below the shoulder like a LesPaul headstock break.
Likely hospitalized for about a week.
Biggest concerns are his left shoulder and hip, it may take some time to recover.
He was broadsided by a big truck, hit on drivers door, his truck rolled, both he and his son ejected from the vehicle.
Very lucky to be alive today.
Ahh! Bad news! What a reality check, here's hoping for a full recovery!!!
EDIT: This was being typed during the above post. The accident is bad news, not that he is up and conversing with people!
Get better soon brother we all need your wisdom , encouragement and humor.
Praying for the best! Hang in there Dave - we eagerly wait your full recovery!
Thanks for keeping us updated, Rich!
hang in there Dave and son.
As a newer member I can’t say I know who Dave is. I also admit I don’t often pay attention to who is posting, but my prayers are still being sent out. This is the best guitar forum there is and it’s because of the people that populate it. Speedy recovery, my unknown friend.
All my thoughts and best wishes to Dave and his son.
Joining in the prayer squad. Grateful to hear good news so far.
I just now saw this.
Thank you @Rich Rice for posting up the info about Brother Dave.
Sometimes, you just never know what's coming at you.
Wishing the best of luck for Dave and his son's healing up and recovery.
It's never a good time to be in the hospital, and right now, it's worse than usual. I just got my Mom out of the hospital and back home last Saturday. Having no visitors on top of the injuries is a tough thing.
Hang in there amigo !!!
