From what I heard, they also tried elephant glue. Dave really liked the side effects from that one, but the doctors thought learning to walk tripedally was literally a step too far.

I had a visit from my older bro and his son, just now.. out of the blue.. it's always good to see them..
the young fella rolled a soft top BMW a few years back... we thought the worst...broken neck and shoulder, ripped a flap of skin off his head on the side window,.... wheelchair job for most, but within a year or so he was walking again....
so, it's was great to share a few drinks and a few laughs with him today...
he's doing ok now, a few weaknesses in his limbs... but alive, none the less...
