Are you looking to build a footswitch for your gx212?

The original one had 3 buttons, as described below, but you could probably use a one-button type with a mono 1/4" plug for the reverb, and a two-button type with a stereo 1/4" plug for the channel and gain. Or, something like the Ampeg AFP-3 might work.

Here's a link to the owner's manual page that covers the footswitch:

21: CHANNEL SELECT / GAIN FOOTSWITCH
JACK (rear panel, not shown): Use this jack to
connect the 1/4" stereo plug on the footswitch
cable to the three-button footswitch (supplied).
This allows you to remotely switch between the
Clean and Overdrive channels and between
Gain 1 and 2 of the Overdrive channel.

22: REVERB FOOTSWITCH JACK (rear panel,
not shown): Use this jack to connect the 1/4"
mono plug on the footswitch cable to the three-
button footswitch (supplied). This allows you to
remotely turn the reverb on and off.

The one Crate provided for it looks like this:

I wonder why there are three switches, the GX-212 only allows for Chanel Select and Shape on a TRS lead.
The foot pedal looks just like the Marshall one ... I may be wrong but the amplifier has only provision for the two selections.
