Fender Amer. Standard Telecaster
I hate it when I click on a CL ad and there are no pictures. "E mail for pictures" really? Guess at some level they don't want to make the sale .
I emailed and asked what kind of air it was made out of.....
He responded with this:
"The best kind. Pure helium. Makes the high notes sound great"
Not sure what this one has in common with Clapton's blackie other than it has a black body...
At least he's not trying to dupe anyone, unlike most of these ads
Plus, he's willing to trade for a girlfriend. Might not be such a bad deal, yaknow?
This one wouldn't be so funny except that he is including the cost of the Cobra car badge in the list of "upgrades".
No comment necessary.
Honestly, not sure what the "lol" is about this one. I own one of these, and i'll take the "pepsi challenge" with it against any fender. I have about 30k worth of guitars, including american fenders, however the hondo gets more attention then most of them.
These were made in japan in the matsumoku factory, and are TOP NOTCH guitars. 350 is awesome for a guitar as well made as that....
I don't have one, but I'm with you and didn't see that as a LOL CL ad. That one is probably a gem.
Some Cobra Mustang owner is probably cussing at the emblem that was stolen off the fender of his car...
Thanks- I just learned something about Hondos. I put it up because it listed as a "vintage telecaster" I wasn't expecting it to be a Hondo when I pulled it up.
Some part of this is intentional BS. If this person is genuinely ignorant and believes it's a "CLASSIC RE-ISSUE SERIES", there's no way they're the orig owner who should know it's a Hwy One, unless they got duped by a salesperson.
FENDER Telecaster / American Re Issue
Of course it does...
Fender Telecaster agave blue new
I have a few things on Craigslist right now.
I received this email yesterday for a Bob Burt overdrive pedal.....
I will like to know if this item is still available for sale . And i have a Moving Company that will handle the pick up of the Item from your place...
lol...they never stop
I had a dude come by from CL to buy a compressor pedal. While he was testing it out, he asked why there was a volume drop when he'd start playing.
This was an older Boss 12V pedal, and his reason for passing was that it needed a mod to be used with a 9V adapter even though he was specifically looking for a CS-3 with the intention of modding it.
