I just got taken back to being 16/17 riding around back roads while drinking Milwaukees Best Light. I had a beat up little Nissans Sentra that I thought was a Cadillac. Blasting Cracker off of my discman. If you rode shotgun , you had to hold it so it wouldn’t skip. The little cassette tape adapter and huge folders of CDs. Just laughing and riding with no destination.
Man, thanks for posting this. You made my day.

I liked “Cracker” but loved “Kerosene Hat.” Pretty much all the way through. I love how they arrange their songs and mixes; dry acoustic mostly on one side and tremolo-y slightly dirty electric on the other seems like it would be weird but it really seems to work.

The surprisingly funky bass line in “Eurotrash Girl” played a big role in getting me interested enough in bass to buy one and learn to play it.

Also a big Cracker fan. Always had some great guitar parts courtesy of Johnny Hickman.
