    Hi
I am still looking for that awesome touch sensitive bassy clean tone I once had at bedroom levels with a Marshall JTM1C.
Now I could get a used 68 Princeton with a G10 Greenback speaker and was wondering if it can get me in that direction?

    Anyone?
There are two 68 Custom Princeton Reverbs around here.
One that comes with a G10 Greenback speaker and another one that has the stock speaker but new caps, a TAD tube in the first gain stage and a RCA tube in the phase inverter. The second one is 100€ more expensive.
Wich one would you buy and why?
    Your help is much appreciated!

Check retail price on the Greenback vs. the stock speaker. Recap a modern amp? A couple of tubes? No big deal there.

The admins moved my post here, but now I'm confused. If this is a thread about CVRs, you might not want my response about CPRs. :D

Sorry, the posts above were tacked onto a 7-year old thread, and I got confused trying to straighten it out. I think it's all clear now. My apologies for the mix-up. CS

No worries! I was just trying to answer the recent question. This thread looks better!
