Took the kids to see it at the drive-in last night. We all liked it.
You still have drive-ins? Wow! The last one around here closed about 8 or 9 years ago.
I saw it Thursday afternoon.
Good movie. Not great. Diverting.
Nice way to spend a couple of hours on a hot afternoon.
Loved it, a lot like an Indiana Jones adventure in style and fun
Boy, I sure miss my hometown's drive-in. The food! Pickle on a stick, kielbassa on a stick ... And watching films like Deep Blue Sea in the pouring rain with the windshield wipers going. Like 3-D. Actually felt like we were in the underwater base.
want to see it soon
I don't have high expectations but it should be entertaining.
We have a drive in here but with the heat ( was 106 Tues, still in the 90s at night) the drive in is basically a mosquito buffet so I'll pass on that.
I also enjoyed the movie.
Can't wait to see it. Drive-in? You live in the 20th century or sumpn'?
I thought it was awful...but I really liked it! It was a pretty bad film but fun and we all enjoyed it (and the chaps and western wear) muchos
I went to the drive-in with the family two years back to relive the magic of my youth and I quickly realized that high real estate prices aren't the only reason they're rare these days. No surround sound, far from optimal visuals. If I want to watch a movie in my car, it'll be a DVD playing on one of the fold-down screens.
Wow, what did your kids do to deserve THAT type of punishment??
The trailers looked good...been wanting to see it.
The actress is ungodly hot.
Seen the movie yet? Like the fire scene?
The wife and I went and saw it on opening night and we THOROUGHLY enjoyed it! Good, Fun Film!!!! (but at an INdoor theatre, tho - but non-IMAX, nor even 3D if that counts? )
Lots of families started out in driveins.
the actress Olivia Wilde who plays "13" on HOUSE.
Saw it at the drive-in, too. I enjoyed it, though I kept thinking they could have made the story stronger in a lot of ways. Still, it was great fun.
A friend of mine worked as an extra and stuntman on the film. I _think_ I spotted him a couple times.
"Cowboys & Aliens" [3.8/10]: IMHO and with all due respect to the opposing opinion of others, I have to say that this was the worst movie that I have seen in a long time. I initially thought that the story sounded ridiculous. I saw the stars involved. My wife expressed interest. I fell for the hype and the trailers. I went to see the movie. My initial feelings were correct. I thought that the film was terrible from A to Z. The story, the acting, even the filmmaking were sub-par. I am so sorry I wasted my money. My favorite part of the experience was seeing the trailer for "War Horse" which is due out at Christmas. (3.8/10 is kind because, though my opinion is that he messed-up here, I generally like Daniel Craig...)
It would have 5 stars if 13 had got her teets oot on camera - she is smokin
Solid film, not intellectual but so what
