The Gerry Rafferty original version of Baker Street has one feel.

The Foo Fighters' cover brings something new to the party.

I like Prince's version of "Nothing compares 2 U" better than Sinead's, which he wrote actually for her (as he did for many artists), so I'm not sure if it technically counts as a cover :)

    Esperonto - Eleanor Rigby

    Cactus - Evil

Stiv Bators - It's Cold Outside

The last one is particularly special for me.
The original by The Choir was a regional radio hit around Cleveland/NE Ohio in the '60s.
"Stiv" (Steve Bator) was a notorious delinquent around our hometown I knew since we were kids.
My highschool pal Eddy Best was the original guitarist in The Dead Boys.
Eddy plays 12 string Ric on this version and his touch is written all over the production.
    RIP Steve

I really can't say who did the original, it's been covered for decades, but I like Pati Smith's version of G-L-O-R-I-A

Wow. That was great. Not a huge fan of the string arrangement (except the last verse) but I see why you get the shivers.

This is a great rendition of one of Bob Dylan’s best songs.

I haven't finished looking to see if this was posted, but my guess would be that it hasn't. It's great song. Love the harmonies on the live Zac Brown version.
