This must me some of the best Joni Mitchell covers I have heard. Ever.

Then again, I just love everything Chris Thile and Aoife O'Donovan do.

Prince copped to swiping some of Joni's chord progressions. I mean, how cool is that?

    She cray-cray, though

Prince also quoted her (in "The Ballad of Dorothy Parker") - "Mind if I turn on the radio?" / "Oh, my favorite song" she said / And it was Joni singing "Help me I think I'm falling".

Not sure if I agree about "cray-cray" (which I had to look up in an urban dictionary).

I have this weird, incurable disease that seems like it’s from outer space. Morgellons is a slow, unpredictable killer — a terrorist disease: it will blow up one of your organs, leaving you in bed for a year… Fibers in a variety of colors protrude out of my skin like mushrooms after a rainstorm: they cannot be forensically identified as animal, vegetable or mineral.

The CDC study found that Morgellons is most likely to affect middle-aged white women.

Many of the patients in the CDC study showed signs of being obsessively concerned about health problems in general. This is called somatic concerns.

About half of the people in the study had other health problems, including depression and drug abuse.

I’ve seen a few tributes to her but that version of Coyote is awesome.
There is only one Joni Mitchell. I can’t think of another single artist who comes close to her.

There are many ways to play "Woodstock". I already posted those some time ago, but here we go again:

There are a few artist that seem to transcend their time. Joni Michell must be in the top 5 of that list. Like the Beatles, she never stop evolving her music. She never listened to her critics or managers for that matter. She wrote, arranged, performed, produced and toured her songs under the constant second guessing of everyone around her. She is the real deal and her music holds up and shines to this day because of the way she stood up for it. She is not cray cray. At 75 and in post aneurysm recovery she is sharper than most of us. She, like Frank Zappa would toy with interviewers like a cat with a wounded mouse if they got stupid. Heres an interview from six years ago.

I think this Nazareth hit is a Joni Mitchell song, I could be wrong,
