I think what's radio-popular in C&W has been pretty bad for many years, but I also think there are tons of artists doing right by the genre in 2023, maybe more than at any time in my life. It just amazes me that song or its singer is classified in any way as "country."It was perfectly clear. Country music nowadays is not much my cup of tea either.

I m not pretty much in the newer stuffs in country and western, and i guess you won't hear the good music on mainstream radio.
