That (without the parenthetical "?") was a headline I just saw. Imagine my confusion when I clicked the link and was taken to an article about Greg Allman being engaged to a woman 40 years his junior.

Apparently Country Really is the New Rock.

Allman is more rock and roll but has flirted with country music. Some acts do cross over from rock into what is certainly country like the Byrds, the Eagles, and Lynard Skynard.

I saw Gregg on Piers Morgan's CNN show being interviewed and saying he was getting married again. Morgan was the one who actually "announced" it.

Gregg is on his book tour. He mostly gave one word answers and looked and sounded awful.

Well, I suppose Greg must have consulted my son the great philosopher who when he learned his buddy was marrying an older woman, said. Well, I've had young women, and I've had old women, I much prefer young women. Now that right there is some deep stuff.

Someone mentioned Lionel Ritchie and country music. I saw a portion of a video that he and Shinia Twain were doing together. Shinia looked embarrassed, and Lionel was by the ocean and he was jerking around like one of them electric eels had shot up his pants leg. Horrible, horrible image to have in your mind. Lionel, I don't think Hank done it this-a-way.
