Find this on PBS and watch it for some really nice Vince Gill Telecaster playing. It goes along with the upcoming massive documentary about the history of country music. I really enjoyed it.
Actually, I was extremely surprised at how good the show was. Most of the time I'm very disappointed in these kind of specials. Now I'm really excited to see the documentary.

I saw this was coming on so I set my DVR, then kinda forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder! I’ll probably watch tonight.

I enjoyed the show. Rhiannon Giddens was great! Paul Franklin's steel cried out so beautifully.

Yeah, the house band was great. I forgot to pay attention to the credits, but I bet Vince Gill was the musical director. It didn't have the same usual players that these tv specials usually have. I think it was better for it.
