I need to check this place out next time we go to the area wineries!
Too much cheese.
Palermos is good.
I know they had a little anti-union trouble recently though
But it's best cut into squares, of course
Crap, drove by a Shakeys in Waipahu last week and didn't stop...now it's 4000 miles away. BakTo Costco, used to have a Margarite that was good but dc'd it, prolly too much moz.
I don't know anything about Costco pizza, but anybody else notice how Pizza Hut pizza varies from one Pizza Hut to another? Mostly the crust.
Do they not have 'proper' deep fried pizza there! http://fxcuisine.com/default.asp?language=2&Display=112&resolution=high
I get my pizza cut into 6 pieces, because I can't eat 8 pieces...
There are a few pizzas that I despise; Domino's, Papa John's, Little Caesar's, modern thick crust Pizza Hut, that place up the street that I went to once and forget what it's called. Costco pizza fits into that weird category where it's not disgusting, but it's also not exactly pizza. It's like bowling alley pizza. Anything where the crust is cooked first and then cooked again isn't really pizza. It's a replica of a pizza. It's a pizzlica. Or a pizzoid.
Here's the Costco menu
I feel the same exact way. Bagels too. I have never lived anywhere outside of CA and have an admitted West Coast Bias, then when I started traveling I had pizza and bagels on the East Coast and was astonished at how much better it is. I don't get it
Have the vanilla ice cream bars at the Costco deli?
They take a vanilla ice cream bar on a stick, dunk it in hot chocolate then roll it in crushed pecans and then they hand it to you.....$1.50 each.
They're huge. Tears of joy man. Tears of joy.
Pizza is like sex - even when it's bad it's still pretty good.
If they're skinny, take two and make them into a sandwich.
EDIT: the pizza!
A real Shakeys pizza is in Norfolk, Nebraska, the last franchise left that still uses the original recipes.
Pizza Turntable! If you spin the pizza backwards, does it say "Here's to my sweet Satan" ?
Just try to find seitan at Costco!
