We have 3 Corgis and our oldest, Forrest, turned 18 today.
I know his days are numbered, but he is still doing very
well for a dog of his age. I'll miss him when he's gone.

All 3 at our last home waiting for the mailman
who always had treats. Smart. Our dogs loved him.

Our other two dogs could not do what River does, which is to
just watch the critters, even when they are face to face with her.
She knows if she barks or paws at the glass, they leave and the show is over.
She is content just to watch them.

My wife does pet portraits using pastels drawing them from pictures.
Many are done for people that have lost a beloved pet and want something to remember their best friend.
I'm always in awe of her ability to get as close to the actual photo as she does.

HOLY HECK!

That’s OLD! With a capital O!

Good for him

Is there a secret chow involved?

What a nice looking dog family, I’m partial to long dogs with low clearance about to scrape bottom ;)

Beautiful dogs. 18 for a Corgi? What do you feed your Doggies? Diet? Brand?. WE eat crap and we suffer. A lot of folks feed their pets CRAP quality. It would be like a humans eating McDonalds only in their diet. And then they expect their pet to be all frolicy when really, they are shortening their best buddies life.

Hey! There’s nothing wrong with a diet of “carp”!

Except the impending mercury poisoning....;)

At age four, Forrest had some allergies from the food we were feeding him at the time.
We switched to Natural Balance - potato/salmon because of his food allergies.

Two years ago upon the advice of some trainer friends of my wife and because of our dogs age, we switched again to Purina Pro-Plan Bright Mind.

Forrest was in the All Star top 50 in agility competition for years. He was
also a registered therapy dog allowing him to bring joy to some hospitalized
patients and retirement home residents.

Our next youngest is Satch at 14 who is now retired from agility.
Our youngest, River, is 6 and still enjoys going to a few agility trials a year.
