I am surprised that this pedal has not been mentioned here.
This is most definitely at the top of my must have list.
I do not play out that often anymore and this pedal would be the bees knees for me.
Yes, I have and have had different programmable drum machines, loopers and recording software but the simplicity of this pedal is amazing, especially for my needs.

Yeah, that is pretty slick and as a practice or writing tool more effective than a simple looper would be. It has my attention. Thanks!

These things always look easy to use - in the demos. That's because the demo guy has been playing with the thing for weeks.
Still, must have it. Will have it.

Yes, same here. Definitely in my BUY IT NOW list... that is really REALLY awesome.

I do hope that there's a way that the guitar part that you pre-recorded will still play over when the drums & bass loops.

So what would happen if you plugged a Miku into this thing? Would you have a band made entirely out of effects pedals?

Add a looper and you wouldn't be far away from your 21st C one man band. I must add tap dancing to my list of accomplishments.

if you can turn on the bass or drums individually... i could see some bandmates losing their jobs

Wow. I like to write classic three chord country and this would be able to handle that easily without having to tap a bunch of buttons on a computer to work out a simple idea. Man , " a great tool for a simple tool."

It can do 3/4 and 4/4, that is good. Anybody find a list of the available styles in each genre?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I believe if you want your guitar part to loop with the pedal you would need an additional loop pedal.
I do wish Digitech had incorporated their jamsync into this pedal to help sync it to their loop pedals.
There is a quick start guide on their website but no owners manual yet.
Here is a link to another Youtube review which might help answer some question.

This pedal sounds good and all, but will it show up on time to practices and gigs? Does it have an annoying girlfriend who has opinions on the name of the band? Does it have addiction problems? Reliable car? Etc etc

If the answers are no, yes, yes, and no, then it's just like most of my bandmates. :p

Thanks to the above, I play alone now. Might have to look at this thing closely.

Impressive. This thing is certainly very complex under the hood.

I know some very skilled programmers who are trying to make an auto-bass plugin for years without success; It was supposed to work similarly to this pedal...I mean, let it listen to a few chords and that's it.

Do you have any idea about pricing?

    Cheers,

    Raf.

EDIT: It's supposed to cost $224.95 according to this Premier Guitar article...Ouch! This thing's going to arrive here in Brazil for twice the price, thanks to our stupid abusive taxes. :(

fear not, you still have to pick it up since it doesn't have a car!
